Qualitative Research Methods:

What are they, how to use them & what could they mean for your own research?

Two-day workshop

Organized by the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology, University of Cologne and Okavango Research Institute

When: 16th and 17th of February 2023 (lunch provided)

Where: ORI campus (room TBA)

This workshop is organized for graduate students from ORI whom are interested in learning more about qualitative research methods. The two-day workshop will cover broad topics including ethnography, interviews, fieldwork and data analysis. The workshop is aimed to be interactive and the second day is dedicated to a discussion of the value and applicability of qualitative research methods to the participants’ own research projects.
